No music for a change
We've decided to try turning off the music. We like choosing Canadian artists to play that go with the timelapse, but for a while we're going to try no music at all. You can fill in the blanks and try your own without having us choose it for you. If you feel strongly either way please email us to let us know at paul@timejoy.net.
The Olympics are Coming!
Hi Timejoy Community, as you likely know the winter Olympics coming to Vancouver in February. We are spending all of our energies getting our webcams and webcam locations ready for the world. If you know of anyone with a great view of Vancouver please send us an email to paul(at)timejoy.net and we will be sure to connect them prior to games time. Keep in mind that we can connect webcams anytime, from either PC's or Apple's, anywhere in the world. Drop us an email if you are interested. Cheers, Paul
Welcome www.thevancouverobserver.com
It is so great to have met Linda Solomon from The Vancouver Observer. Our audiences both share the same love of Vancouver! Linda added a camera from their offices overlooking downtown Vancouver. We are happy to have them join us. If you would like to put a small webcam in your window and add your view to Timejoy please email us at "addcamera(at)timejoy.net".
Cams are Back Up
October turned out to be a frustrating month. We continued to have server problems, however all is now well and we are gradually bringing the cameras back online. I was also in Asia doing some shooting last month. Select 'Hong Kong' in the city pull-down menu and you can see some of the clips that I shot. It was frustrating as my external Canon timer jammed near the end of my stay in Hong Kong so it severely limited the shooting that I could do in Singapore. Luckily I was staying with my brother and we used his HD video camera to catch some nice clips.
Thanks for Hanging In There
We had a number of server problems during September which brought our live cams down. We have moved our server relationship away from Hostv, which was a disaster. We have stabilized again at a much better hosting company and our cams are gradually being brought back online live. Please bear with us as we get back up. Thanks to all of you for your patience! Cheers, Paul
So Much Going On
Hi Timejoy timelapse fans,
It has been such a whirlwind since we launched last April. We've been working since last fall to invent the live timelapse capability on the internet. It is so unbelievable to be able to watch it everyday. Each new camera that we add is a buzz.
